What Is Advocare?

We are a non-profit organization that provides Advocare services in Aged Care. Advocare can be defined as “Advocacy services for people with dementia and their families”.

The goal is to improve the quality of life for those affected by dementia. They also work to raise awareness about dementia and advocate for better policies and services for people living with dementia.

Wherever possible, we aim to provide Advocare services in the person’s own home so that they can stay in their community and maintain their independence. However, we also have Advocare workers who are based in residential aged-care facilities.

We do community care service provision in Advocare. This means that we provide support to people living in the community, as well as those who are in residential aged care.
